In recent years, talent joint training bases have been established with Harbin University in Egypt and the University of Engineering and Emerging Technologies in Pakistan. Academic exchanges have been carried out with renowned universities such as The Ohio State University (USA), Georgia Institute of Technology (USA), University of Florence (Italy), University of Technology Sydney (Australia), National University of Singapore, McGill University (Canada), and Eindhoven University of Technology (the Netherlands). More than 20 doctoral students have been jointly trained, and over 100 international students have been cultivated for Belt and Road countries.

The college has successfully hosted several important international conferences, including:

· The 32nd International Symposium on Software Reliability Engineering (ISSRE, a CCF-recommended Class B authoritative conference) in 2021 (the first time in mainland China in over 30 years, with Academicians Mei Hong and Lü Jian invited as Honorary Conference Chairs);

· The International Symposium on Frontiers of Software Reliability Engineering in 2022;

· The 8th International Symposium on Software Engineering and Knowledge Management in 2022;

· The International Symposium on Distributed Computing and Its Applications (DCABES);

· The 15th International Workshop on Software Aging and Rejuvenation (WoSAR) in 2023.

In the past three years, the college has been approved for the Ministry of Science and Technology/State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs High-Level Foreign Expert Introduction Program for three consecutive years (rolling support), obtained 4 China Scholarship Council National Public Joint Training Doctoral Projects, and students have participated in international conferences and presented papers 84 times in total.
